First Edition's heat press line was engineered and developed by Cliff Hix. Cliff co-founded HIX Corporation with his brother and spent more than 25 years designing and manufacturing heat press and screen-printing equipment. After selling HIX Corporation, Cliff and his wife, Judy, founded First Edition in 1991. Cliff brought decades of experience to the new company, and that expertise became the foundation of the heat press line we still manufacture in Kansas today. Today, that line is available in two models—built on the same proven engineering, sized for different shops.
